Starting at 1 month of age, I begin to present the kittens with feed feeding kibble and raw beef/chicken or vension 2 - 3 times daily. The kittens will continue to eat this diet throughout their development and their intake will increase significantly.
While I don't demand that you feed your kitten a raw diet, I do highly recommend it as that is what they are used to. Please see my "raw diet" page for more information.
Kibbles I recommend:
Sphynx need more calories than the average cat so I personally keep feeders full of dry kibble easily accessible at all times. Additionally, I feed them a raw diet 2 times daily. I would reccommend doing the same or replace the raw diet with a high quality wet food. Try EVO, Wellness Core or Hills Vet A/D formula for extra calories.
We are happy to add you to our waiting list once you have completed the adoption application on our website. There is typically a waiting period of 3 - 12 months before a kitten will be available.
You can use MC, VISA or AMEX through Paypal. If you do not want to use paypal, you can pay by check or money order.
It is likely that you will have to wait any where from 3 - 12 months for your sphynx kitten. We find that this waiting period gives new families a nice time frame to make payments and prepare for their new family addition.
We'd be happy to arrange a payment plan that is comfortable for you. The kitty would have to be paid in full prior to getting fixed and leaving our home.
There are great opportunities to show pet sphynx at CFA and TICA shows. Showing is a lot of fun and I will be happy to assist you if you would like! Just ask!
Kittens 4 - 8 months old are shown in Kitten Class.
Spays/Neuters 8 months and older are shown in Premiership Class.
Intact cats 8 months and older are shown in Championship Class.
Check out cfa.org or tica.org and view their show schedules to find a show in your area.
I will no longer be offering stud service to breeders that I do not have a working relationship with.
All kittens are fully vaccinated before going home and they will not need any more boosters until their 1st birthday. Please makes sure your vet reviews the vaccination records that you get with your kitty to ensure no unncessary shots will be given.
Make sure you DO NOT have any additional types vaccinations given and read your contract clearly so you understand why.
I offer a very solid health guarantee but if you end up declawing the kitty I cannot honor our guarantee. So please know that if you adopt a cat from me I need you to be honest about your intentions.
